Pallets are easy to find anywhere and there are a lot of things which you can make out of pallets. I thought to make a small pallet chest for my room so I can place in the things which I do not need on daily basis. A small pallet chest would be convenience for me to keep it anywhere in my room where I can access it anytime I want to. So, I started to collect the pallets as much as I could so that I don’t fall short on them as I am making the small pallet chest. I make the box out of the pallets and attached them together. After that I started making the top which would be a round from the top and sides. This took me a while because I have to cut the side pallets of the top to give them a round shape.
I attached the top with the box together by drilling in the nails and at the back I drilled in the metal patches so that it cannot break or get apart as you pick it. Handle is also attached on both sides to make it convenient for me to pick it up. I painted the chest in different pallet colors of light brown and dark brown to give it an edgy look. The small pallet chest looks perfect and I can store so much stuff in it. I have also attached a chain inside so that as I open up the chest top, it does not fall behind but stays at one place.
If you are free this weekend, then I would suggest you make the small pallet chest because the best storage place for the things you do not use on daily basis is the chest. I love my new small pallet chest.
